Each of Lutheran Church–Canada’s three Regions is divided into Circuits.
What is a “Circuit”?
A circuit is a grouping of LCC congregations located in a designated area of Canada. In LCC, the regions and circuits are regarded as ecclesiastical extensions of the congregation. They are designed to:
- Assist the congregation and its members in conserving and promoting the unity of the faith and in carrying out their mission and ministry.
- To provide a method by which congregations can exercise certain functions which can be performed more efficiently and effectively together with sister congregations.
