The life of a pastor’s wife is filled with tremendous joys as well as some serious challenges. We long for a confidante and friend outside of the congregation who understands ministry life and the stress it can place on a marriage and family. We strive to support each other in our efforts to balance ministry life and family life.

Who we are

We’re a group of pastors’ wives and advisors who understand the role of the clergy home, and especially the role of pastors’ wives in the church at large.

“Encourage one another and build each other up.” | 1 Thessalonians 5:11

What we do

• IN-PERSON ANNUAL RETREATS | These retreats provide a wonderful opportunity for ministry wives to meet together to study God’s Word, to relax, and to laugh and cry together! We hold one retreat in Alberta and one in British Columbia.
• ONLINE RETREATS | During the COVID-19 pandemic we pivoted to online retreats, in order to stay connected and in God’s Word.
• ONE-DAY REGIONAL RETREATS | We understand that not everyone can get away for a whole weekend. We also offer one-day alternatives, where we can gather around God’s Word, and pray for each other.
• ONLINE GATHERINGS | We offer online gatherings for Bible study, book study, and fellowship to accommodate those who may not be able to attend a full retreat online or in-person.
• FACEBOOK GROUP | We’ve created a closed (private) Facebook group where we can connect with each other and share common joys and stresses with other women who ‘get it’.
• PRAYER REQUEST EMAILS | We send out prayer request emails regarding the concerns of pastors’ wives.
• BIRTHDAY/ANNIVERSARY CARD CLUB | Those who sign up receive greetings in the mail for their birthday and anniversary. 
• ENCOURAGEMENT EMAILS | We all need a word of encouragement every now and then, so we periodically send emails of encouragement.
• SUPPORT FOR SEMINARY WIVES | We look for ways to engage and support the wives of seminarians. They’re invited to all of our events, and at Convocation, the wives of the grads receive a gift. We partner wives of vicars and grads with more “seasoned” ministry wives, who will walk with them for a year.
• SUPPORT FOR WIDOWS | Our dear widows often feel abandoned by the church at large once their husbands pass away. We stay connected with them by inviting them to our events, and they receive greeting cards in the mail several times a year.
