Our Ministry

L’Église Évangélique Luthérienne de La Réconciliation (Evangelical Lutheran Church of Reconciliation) was unanimously received into membership with Lutheran Church–Canada at the Synod Convention in June 2022.

L’Église Évangélique Luthérienne de La Réconciliation offers the preaching of the Word and the administration of the sacraments every Sunday. The congregation also schedules prayer meetings every other Thursday; provides catechetical training every Saturday; and holds Bible studies every Sunday after service.

L’Église Évangélique Luthérienne de La Réconciliation works with International students, French-Canadians, and Malagasy Lutherans living in Sherbrooke and the surrounding area, through visits, Bible studies and literature donations. The church also provides resources online, and is involved with the CDEC – Centre de Documentation et d’Étude Chrétiennes (Centre for Christian Documentation and Study) in partnership with Bonne Nouvelles (Good News Magazine), and Les Ministères de l’Heure Luthérienne (Lutheran Hour Ministries).
